Although the band had frequently passed out live demos, bootlegs and sketches of new material at concerts to fans, they did not begin work on their debut E.P. until the winter of 2007. Entering the studio with noted producer Justin Thomas, the six song debut was released in June 2008 and captures the band’s fresh sound with impressive vocals, spacey/textured guitar, catchy hooks and an inventively technically adept rhythm section. The E.P. has been given significant praise by music critics, including producer Ron St. Germain of Tool and 311.
